  2.  You may use and evaluate this program for a period of 30 days. After
  3.  such time you must either dispose of the program or register as a
  4.  user via the Agentware method of registration.
  5.  
  6.  The Agentware method of registration is designed to encourage users to
  7.  register the software they use by allowing them to participate in the
  8.  success of any program which uses the Agentware registration method.
  9.             
  10.  How the system operates.
  11.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  12.  Located on the disk is a file containing the names of people who have
  13.  registered as users of the program. These people are referred to as 
  14.  AGENTS. Every time the program is run this file is loaded - it may 
  15.  contain between 1 to 4 Agents. To register as a user of this software you 
  16.  must send the fee of TWO POUNDS to each agent. There may only be 1 agent
  17.  on your particular disk, so it may cost as little as two pounds to 
  18.  register your software and become an agent.

  20.  A list of the Agents who have already registered can be found at any time
  21.  by selecting the menu item CURRENT AGENT LIST from the Agentware menu.

  24.  What you get in return for registering.
  25.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  26.  When you register each agent will send you a unique set of code numbers. 
  27.  When you have codes from all the agents who are listed in your copy of the 
  28.  program you should select INPUT CODES from the menu. You must now enter
  29.  the code numbers you have been given by each agent. If all is correct
  30.  you will be asked to supply your name and address. When this is done
  31.  you will be given your own unique code number. You will now have become
  32.  an agent and your name will be added to the Agent list and saved to
  33.  disk. You will become Agent number 1 and all other agents will be moved
  34.  up a number. Since the system will only allow 4 Agents to take part in
  35.  the system whoever was Agent 4 will be removed from the disk.

  37.  How do you benefit ?

  39.  As an Agent it is now in your interest to distribute as many copies of
  40.  your disk as possible. Since your name now appears on the Agent list
  41.  you will now receive part of the registration fee when a user registers
  42.  a copy of the disk you have distributed. Since your name will stay on the
  43.  disk till you reach the postion of Agent 4 you will also receive
  44.  registration fees from the distribution disks of those who register 
  45.  below you. Your could receive registrations from a great many disks
  46.  
  47.  As an Agent you are ensuring the future production of low cost software
  48.  from Prediction in Silicon. These programs will be made available to
  49.  those who register early enough.

  53.  How do I register and become an Agent?
  54.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  55.  To register this software and take advantage of this system by becoming
  56.  an Agent you must send the sum of two pounds to each agent on your
  57.  program disk. If you have an early copy of the program this may cost
  58.  as little as two pounds. The registration procedure is as follows:

  61.  1] Select AGENTWARE from the main menu then select CURRENT AGENT LIST.
  62.     Make a note of the address of each Agent on your disk. You can also 
  63.     print out the address by selecting PRINT from the menu.

  65.  2] To EACH Agent on the program you will need to send a STAMPED SELF
  66.     ADDRESSED ENVELOPE  plus a cheque or Postal Order for the sum of TWO
  67.     POUNDS. It is not advisable to send cash through the post. Enclose
  68.     a note which states that you wish to register as a user of the program.
  69.     PLEASE REMEMBER TO STATE WHICH PROGRAM YOU ARE REGISTERING AS THERE
  70.     MAYBE MORE THAN ONE PROGRAM USING THE AGENTWARE SYSTEM.
  71.     Please write in the Top Left hand corner of your return envelope
  72.     the number of the Agent to whom you are writing. This will make it
  73.     easy to identify which Agent sent which code numbers. It also allows
  74.     Agents to judge their progress through the system.

  76.  3] When you have the code numbers from all Agents in your possession
  77.     you can select INPUT CODES from the Agentware menu. When prompted 
  78.     you should type in the codes provided by the Agents on your disk. 
  79.     If all is correct a screen will appear which will allow you to
  80.     enter your name and address plus any other message. You only have
  81.     one chance to do this so please make sure your name and address
  82.     are correct before clicking on CANCEL. Your unique set of code
  83.     numbers will now appear. PLEASE WRITE DOWN THESE NUMBERS AND KEEP
  84.     THEM IN A SAFE PLACE. THEY WILL ONLY BE ISSUED ONCE.

  86.  4] Place your original program disk in drive df0: MAKE SURE THE DISK 
  87.     IS WRITE ENABLED. The modified Agent_file will be saved to disk
  88.     with your name appearing as Agent number 1. YOU CAN NOW BEGIN TO
  89.     DISTRIBUTE YOUR OWN COPY OF THE PROGRAM ON WHICH YOU WILL RECEIVE
  90.     REGISTRATION FEES.

  94.  Your responsibilities as an Agent
  95.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  96.  As an Agent you must ensure that you deal with registration requests
  97.  as quickly as possible. Do not delay in returning your code numbers - you
  98.  will only be slowing down your own distribution network. You must not
  99.  disclose the code numbers of any other Agents. You must only supply
  100.  your own set of code numbers as issued by the program.
